July 2023 photo dump

Well, this is a bit late, isn't it? Two thirds of the way into August and I'm only just getting around to doing a photodump for July. I do have excuses—I've been busy, and it turns out self-scanning film is quite labour intensive!

I've also been taking a break from weeknotes for a while. For now let's say they'll be back in September, but no promises. I've got lots to talk about and much of it probably wouldn't fit neatly into the weeknotes format.

Anyway. As always, previous dumps can be found here, and in no particular order, here are my favourite photos from July (not including the ones from the Dunwich Dynamo, they're all here.) And it's all film this month: colour was, as ever, developed at Rapid Eye, and black-and-white was developed by me in Ilfosol 3.

From a railway station platform, the gap between the platform canopy and the roof of an electric train. The pantograph is sprung into contact with the overhead electrical wires, through which the sun snaps through the clouds. In the distance, we see medium- and high-rise tower blocks of flats that look like cheaply constructed and architecturally non-descript cuboids, and an overhead gantry for the railway line.
